Dear Diary,
Today was the day that my mother died. She died a very slow death of Terberculosis. I will miss her very dearly. The worst part was not her dying but watching her die and not being able to help her.

Dear Diary,
Today I asked John Allan to send me some money to pay off my gambling debts. He refused me, not that I was really that suprised. So I can't pay anyone back right now. I am off to put some of the furniture in the fire to keep myself warm tonight, wish me luck.

Dear Diary,
Today my wife died. She fought against Terberculosis for 5 years and today she died. I will say that I wasn't always the strongest while she was dying. From time to time I would drink till I couldn't remember anything that had happened. I am scared for what will happen to her now.

Lately I have been feeling really ill. I've been sober now for 6 months. I was supposed to be getting married, but my fiance has left me. So now I am alone and feeling really confused.
